Who this applies to

International students at Polish universities. Public universities charge no tuition for Polish-language full-time programs (and free for EU/EEA/Card-of-the-Pole holders); non-EU and most English-taught programs pay fees.

Governing authority

Ministry of Science and Higher Education; promotion/scholarships via NAWA. Admission: per-university online systems (IRK / e-rekrutacja).

Degree system

First-cycle (Licencjat/Inżynier, Bachelor) 3–4 yrs · Second-cycle (Magister, Master) 1.5–2 yrs · Doctoral school 4 yrs. Bologna-aligned.

Admission

How
Apply directly to each university via its IRK (Internetowa Rejestracja Kandydatów) system. Recognized secondary diploma (apostilled/recognized); some programs have entrance exams or portfolio.
Language
Polish-taught programs (proficiency required) + a large and growing set of English-taught programs (IELTS/TOEFL). English-medium programs charge tuition to all.
