When planning to learn English at an English school, you never really know what a school will be like until you get there and get to know the staff and teachers. In this post I would like to give you a little bit of a glimpse into our team. Each and every staff member is a special person that has been carefully selected to ensure that students have the best possible time at Oxford English Academy.
Ilse, who is the school director in Cape Town, comes from a small town called Jeffrey’s Bay in the Eastern Cape. Her parents still live there and they run the local newspaper.
Greg, who is a teacher in Oxford, was in the music industry for a number of years before deciding to become a teacher. His classes are always exciting and engaging and all his students love his teaching.
Abdulhamid, who is an administrator in Misurata, is a keen photographer. He is responsible for all the photos of the school and the students and also loves capturing snippets of life wherever he goes.
Ruwita, who is an assistant in Cape Town, is also a professional model. She brings glamour and style with her every day to work.
Nick, who is the school director in Oxford used to live in Peru, where he successfully ran his own English language school.
Lee, who is a teacher in Misurata, used to live in China where he met his wife. They have been in Misurata for almost three years, where his wife gave birth to a beautiful baby girl.
Joslyne, who is the marketing coordinator for the META region, is a great lover of fashion. She follows the latest trends and is always immaculately dressed.
These are just a few of the people that make up the fantastic Oxford English Academy team. When you learn English at any of our schools across the globe, you will have the opportunity to see first-hand why they are all such special people.
