If you are like me, you will have the itchy feeling in your feet that adventure and holidays are fast becoming a priority. But, what if you have decided to take your holidays to learn English in Cape Town at an English Language school, such as Oxford English Academy? What about combining your English Language studies with a fun travel experience.

There are several great tours you can go on. One of my favourites would have to be a top South African bucket list experience – The Garden Route. You will be taken on a 3 – 4-day trip with all the spoils and beauty this fantastic route has to offer.

Trail Tuned Tours, will take you on a 3 Day EPIC ADVENTURE and SAFARI TOUR through the Garden Route.

Here’s what you can expect

Day 1 – Cape Town to Sedgefield

You will travel through Route 62 towards Oudtshoorn, known as the “Ostrich Capital of the world”. Here you will visit The Cango Caves, where you will go on an underground adventure through the narrow tunnels of these amazing historical caves. Then travel over the Outiniqua Pass and settle around the fire with a celebratory drink and good company in the Wilderness area.

Day 2 – Sedgefield to Stormsriver

This day will have you up early in the morning and heading towards Plettenberg Bay to visit the largest private Game Reserve in the heart of the Garden Route. Here you will go on a 2 Hour Game Drive where you can see lion, buffalo, hippos, rhino, cheetah and giraffe in their natural habitat. If you don’t get eaten by one of the BIG 5 you get to enjoy a delicious lunch.  Next stop – an Orphaned Elephant Sanctuary where you will partake in an amazing educational tour with the opportunity to feed, walk trunk in hand and even ride an African Elephant.

If that is not enough to get your adventurous heart racing there are several optional extra activities such as bungee jumping in Stormsriver at one of the longest freefall bungee jumps in the world.

I don’t know about you, but combining holidays, adventure, learning English and the possibility of seeing Africa’s BIG 5, sounds like a perfect way to spend your holidays.
