Easy spoken English is what you want but English is not such a straightforward language. Fortunately there are tools to learn easy spoken English. Oxford English Academy is here to help you. Easy spoken English can be something that everyone can learn and use.
Where to start.
If you are a beginner and you can’t understand anything when people speak, you will need to practise your listening. Apps such as Duolingo and Memrise provide an easy interface and levels from beginner to advanced. Have a look at this site for a list of five top apps.
How to practise.
All you want in the beginning is the ability to create easy spoken English. The internet can help initially but then you will need people. From experience, the hardest thing about learning a new language is finding people to practise with. But when you are trying to practise your speaking, it is essential that you practise. Especially with real people and in real-life situations. This can be difficult if English is not so prominent in your country. This is where travel comes in. You need to travel. Leaving your comfort zone and going to a country where you are forced to speak English will leave you no choice but to improve. It worked for me and I am sure it will work for you.
Once you have a decent set of vocabulary and you think you have some of the grammar down you can start testing yourself. Go to a restaurant on your own and order a meal. It will be difficult at first but you will feel great once it’s done (and if you order the right thing.)
Stop using translator as much. A lot of students rely on this technology. It is great when you are starting out but as soon as you are confident enough to have a basic conversation, start using it less and less. It will hinder your performance if you keep relying on it instead of your own brain.
Easy spoken English is not something that will come easy. But with practise and dedication you can achieve your goals. A little bit of work will go a long way. Good Luck.
